This is Eric Taubert with a Cape Coral Barometer update. This week we're working on a unique set of Summer Vacation Roadtrip Stories which will take you on a journey from Southwest Florida to the Florida Panhandle, Biloxi in Mississippi, and the bars and restaurants of Bourbon Street in New Orleans. On the local front, our food critic, R.D. Lang, recently paid a visit to the Mucky Duck on Captiva Island for some off-season eats. His review will be forthcoming, as well.
In the coming weeks we will be unveiling a new local arts website we're co-founders of. We want to help organize the artists of Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Pine Island and beyond. Our interactive website will give you all a place to talk art, trade techniques and tips, announce art events, and network with an online community of artists. Keep your eyes open for the announcement. In other news, we just put the finishing touches on our sleek, new, website design. It's all cleaned up and easy to navigate. We're embracing all the modern technologies. The entire internet seems to be going the way of online video, and we plan on joining them in the near future. As such, we've got a new media player placed front and center on our home page. We don't have much for content yet, but give us some time and we're sure you'll be pleasantly surprised. |
